Kristine and Eric's new house. Pictures from before moving in.
The chandeleir in the stairway is really pretty. The diningroom has the same fixture only smaller in it, and its cool that they match. The frosted glass and pretty bronzey colors look way nice.
The Master Bedroom has beautiful walls and a border that will match my bedspread nicely. (furniture not included!)
I think I might look at getting a ceiling fan that's nicer or figuring out how to paint this one so its not so gold.
On the other side of the Master bedroom is an attached bathroom. It has the same border as the bedroom, which is really nice. And the light fixture is really pretty. I don't like the cold faucet, but that's fixable apparently. :) The counter is really small, and we'll have to do something to keep all of our stuff neat. Probably use my makeup on the dressor in the bedroom instead of the bathroom.
E's sad that the shower doesn't have a door, just a curtain. I think I kinda like it this way.
The master bedroom has a closet so nice and spacious that it has a window! its really nice. Probably not much bigger than our current closet, but its in a nice spot off the end of our bedroom.
The walls are currently a periwinkle color in the room we'll be using as an office. I like the white baseboards around the room, but they probably will be mostly hidden by the desks and stuff. I don't know if this is the color I'd pick as an office color, but its pretty nice and soothing.
In the office room, there is a nice big closet. Its actually deeper from the other side you can't see. It will work nicely for our extra computer stuff, my crafts, and probably even some games.
The guest bedroom is also vaulted, painted with two colors of green. For now, we are gonna put our little couch in here and the bookshelves and call it the reading room. Eventually, we'll get another bed and make it the guest bedroom. The closet is smaller, so I vetoed it as the office, even though these colors make me think office more than periwinkle. :)
There's a cute landing space in the stairway that would look nice with some decorative plants or something. Or we could just keep Megan up there as decoration. :)
The downstairs bathroom is so cute. It has nice tiled counters and a beautiful wall treatment and border. I *love* the ivy border. There's a door on other side of the wall that goes to the hot water heater under the stairs. Some storage space there, too.
The kitchen is a U-shape, with beautiful cabinets, a granite countertop, and built in microwave. The Stove and dishwasher and microwave will be staying but the refridgerator (not pictured - its next to me when taking the pic) is going. Oh, and the floor is hard wood, coming from the entry way into the kitchen. I guess its Pergo, a wood textured laminent, but it looks beautiful.
Closer look at the pretty countertops. The diningroom is on the other side of this counter, although there's not an overhang for bar stools on the end. That woulda been kinda nice.
The diningroom/edge of living room.
This is right on the otherside of the counter in the kitchen, and the chandeleir is a smaller version of the one in the stair way. The fireplace and TV spot are visible in this pic, too. (furniture not included!) I'm not sure how my more country style table will match in here. I guess we'll see. :)
