Over the pass that was scary before, only snow on the sides, not on the road. Phew!

This mountain was much easier to photograph against the white sky! It said Black Butte summit but i'm not sure if that's the mountain or the section of the road.

QotD: Happy New Year!

How are you ringing in the New Year tonight?

Game night (again) with our friends, but ending a little earlier than the previous two nights I'm guessing because we have to be up earlier in the morning.  Card games, strategy games, board games, it's all good stuff.

We watched the ball drop with Dick Clark, and even though our party was as many as 10-ish people at one point, there were only 3 of us drinking sparkling pear cider at midnight here. :)  It was a nice evening!

Dick Clark's voice sounded a little better this year, but still sad to see him not sounding up to his best.
